VFX ARTIST

BRIEF:

The Production Manager acts as a liaison by monitoring, coordinating, and communicating objectives from the client. This role maintains a thorough knowledge of client contracts, as well as an understanding of how they impact internal operations. The Production Manager is in charge of managing the health of the team and the contracts including but not limited to, scheduling, budgets, and maintaining a positive client relationship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Outline the tasks involved in a project and delegate accordingly.
  • Setting and managing deadlines to ensure that projects remain on schedule.
  • Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, clients, and vendors.
  • Works with the Art Team Manager to check in on artists and provide support where needed.

STUDIO MANAGER

Beyond-FX is looking for a driven, innovative, and proactive Studio Manager to join our team and help us continue in our path of a passionate and successful studio of visual effects artists applying our craft on exciting projects across the industry. You will be the second-in-command, responsible for the efficiency, quality, and enjoyment of our day-to-day operations. The Studio Manager is a key member of the Operations team, working closely with the Director of Operations and Studio Director to proactively create a successful future for our business and our team members. You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, from individual client relations to team culture and reviews, so we expect you to be an experienced communicator, efficient leader, and empathic team player. The Studio Manager plays an integral role in all internal aspects of operations, from managing client relationships and projects, team culture and growth, to the future roadmap of the studio. This will be a multi-faceted role, and see you wearing numerous ‘hats’ as you work with the operations team to tackle the various new challenges and opportunities that arise.
