PRODUCTION MANAGER

You act as a liaison to our clients and continue to act as an ally to our artists by monitoring, coordinating, and communicating objectives from the client. You maintain a thorough knowledge of client requirements, tasks, and deadlines, as well as an understanding of how they impact internal operations. You are in charge of managing the health of the team and the contracts, including but not limited to scheduling and maintaining a positive client relationship. You continue to maintain functions key to supporting the Production Management team, our artists, and studio operations and act as a go-between knowledge source for our internal knowledge of projects and our artists’ needs.

The Production Manager supports our artists’ health, productivity, and work environment. They will work closely with our art team to ensure each artist can continue to thrive and grow artistically while maintaining a healthy and productive balance between their client projects and internal work. The Production Manager also acts as a client liaison by monitoring, coordinating, and communicating objectives from the client to our internal team, ensuring delivery is to our studio’s standards, on time, and on target. This role maintains a thorough knowledge of client requirements, tasks, and deadlines, as well as an understanding of how they impact internal operations. The Production Manager oversees all aspects of internal and client-facing production, including but not limited to scheduling, documentation, project management tools, and maintaining a positive client relationship. This role also maintains functions key to supporting the Production Management team, our artists, and studio operations by acting as a go-between knowledge source for our internal understanding and comprehension of projects and artist needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Outline the tasks involved in a project and delegate accordingly.
  • Setting and managing deadlines to ensure that projects remain on schedule.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Acts as a liaison between our studio, clients, and vendors.
  • Works with studio leadership to check in on artists and provide support where needed.
  • Provide organizational and production support for internal endeavors as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

We are open to considering candidates who will report to in-studio (Los Angeles) Monday-Wednesday, and optional work from home Thursday.

California Pay Range: $75,000-95,000 USD gross per year.
Gross pay may be adjusted based on location (outside of California) and experience.

OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

You support the entire studio and its directives by assisting with various projects across all departments and teams. You play a key role in a small operations team dedicated to ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a vibrant, robust studio culture. Your responsibilities will change daily, ranging from business administration and finance data entry to managing facility needs, team events, and culture initiatives. You'll need to adapt quickly and communicate proactively about challenges, working closely with all members of the studio’s operational departments. With a keen interest in learning about different business areas, you are motivated to grow in operations, passionate about gaming, a self-starter, and willing to think outside the box to meet our studio’s needs.

The Operations Associate will assist with a myriad of projects across each of the departments. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be an integral part of a small Operations team that is responsible for supporting the entire company. Your tasks will vary from day to day and will include business administration support, finance data entry and record keeping, and managing the facility needs. To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to adapt quickly and be proactive about communicating challenges as they arise. You are eager to develop your knowledge in many areas of the business and want to grow in Operations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the studio including team events and initiatives such as celebrations and interdepartmental goals
  • Help upkeep all facets of our physical facilities, from security to records, from the studio pantry to swag inventory 
  • Track inventory and keep the office stocked with all necessary supplies
  • Function as a part of our finance team with a focus on Accounts Payable, handling vendor invoices and record keeping
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice receipt, payment status, and necessary documentation
  • Plan and execute team events from conception through post-mortems, with support from the Operations Manager
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail from various vendors, both domestic and international
  • Manage outgoing shipments to both domestic and international team members and vendors
  • Examine internal processes and strategize on efficiencies and areas of improvement
  • Support the Operations Manager & Deputy General Manager on various operations related matters

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work on a hybrid reporting status, reporting to our Los Angeles studio, Monday-Wednesday, and optional work from home Thursday and Friday.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Google Workspace Suite, MS Dynamics, and QuickBooks, required; previous experience with Asana, Notion, Slack, and Teams preferred
  • At least one year experience as an operations generalist preferred

We are open to considering candidates who will report to in-studio (Los Angeles) Monday-Wednesday, and optional work from home Thursday.

California Pay Range: $68,000-75,000 USD gross per year.
Gross pay may be adjusted based on location (outside of California) and experience.
