The world of Rivengard is a fractured one. The discovery of a hidden continent sends shockwaves throughout the world, as the Five Gods rally their factions to conquer the new lands and compete for ultimate power.

Snowprint Studios’ second title, and the first from our Berlin studio, is a turn-based tactical RPG in the evergreen tradition of Heroes of Might and Magic and other classics. The hex-tile gameplay has been completely reinvented for mobile and offers a slew of new game modes.

To succeed on the battlefield, tactical skill is not enough, though: You must gather the greatest Heroes from all the kingdoms, tribes, clans and cultures of Rivengard to succeed! The War of the Five Gods has begun. Which side will you pick?

Working with Snowprint Studios

Beyond-FX collaborated with the Snowprint team as a traditional external and asynchronous full-service VFX department, ideating and creating a variety of spell and character abilities for performance on a broad spectrum of mobile devices. This wonderful partnership spanned a long duration of production on a part-time ‘as-needed’ basis with our artists.

Our extremely efficient pipeline with their designers and directors involved the team at Snowprint quickly creating work setups for our team to layer, implement, and iterate within, allowing our artists to create perfectly bespoke assets for their needs in a matter of hours.
