Project Frosty is the first annual Beyond-FX studio-wide VFX jam, bringing together every member of our talented team to work on a single internal project in celebration of the holidays. Our team worked cross-functionally to build the project, developing the sandboxes in Unreal Engine and Unity, concepting, modeling and texturing delightful, holiday-themed weaponry, and finally developing beautiful VFX to showcase how these fun weapons might be used in a game environment. All of the VFX work was done during a single day when the whole team was together for our yearly holiday party.
